I was raised in Bellingham, WA and attended college at the University of Washington in Seattle where I'm currently living and working to make new photos. I've interned for Seattle Weekly and the SeattlePI.com, received recognition by the Associated Press for photo of the month, and have had my work featured in The Guardian, the Young Photographers Alliance, and Washington State University's Museum of Art.

My work is driven by my curiosities in smaller communities/cultures, my passion for learning, and my love for telling stories about the unique people I get to meet each day.

When I'm not making photos, I'm usually trying to taste all of the cheeses in the world, dancing to live music, or exploring the beautiful San Juan Islands.
